• Company specializes in the training services for professionals in the towing and recovery industry.
• Joe Sroga presented his first training class in towing and recovery in 1973 for the Minnesota Service Station Association and Minneapolis Automobile Club. Joe, as President of Star Training and Consulting, Inc., has presented training classes for a large number of state towing associations and many national motor clubs.
• Star Training and Consulting, Inc. has performed vehicle towability performance testing for several of the major automotive manufacturers.
• Joe has served as an expert witness in many court cases related to the industry and provides expert consulting advice to state associations, the industry associations, as well as the legal profession.  

Magnum Company LLC

• Project Manager from 2001-2003 for this Construction Company / Emergency Response Contractor.

• Included tasks such as managing the loading and securing of military equipment on railcars bound for Iraq. Managed emergency response teams at train wrecks, including the removal and transporting of damaged railcars and debris.

RoadOne, Inc.

Trainer (West Palm Beach, FL) 1998-2000

• Full time trainer for RoadOne, Inc., a national towing company who employed about 2,000 tow truck drivers.
• Responsible for the writing of their training program for light and heavy duty towing. Each course consisted of more than 40 hours of training.
• Responsible for reviewing accidents, determining the cause, then developing corrective procedures to prevent further incidents.

Sroga’s Automotive Services, Inc.

• Owner and Operator from 1973-1998.
• Operated a fleet of 16 tow trucks in Minneapolis, MN and surrounding areas working from two locations.
• Company also offered an automotive repair facility with 6 service bays.
